Can't wait to see all the exciting posts this blog is sure to generate! I'm sure i'll be utterly fascinated by it all. It'll be even more informative and entertaining than facebook and twitter combined!!
Hi Liss, Thanks for putting this together. It's a shame the reunion had to end. It was the best and good to see so many classmates are doing well. Dennis
OK, I'll start another sort of ball rolling - I voted for Obama and in general like what he has been doing, but the cards passed out by his staff to kids in the classroom he visited are a no-no because it's against the law to side with anything political in the classroom. For instance, I could never have worn a campaign button in my room or on campus where kids could see. Your turn.......
Nope, I'm not going to get into politics; I already feel surrounded by tales & videos of people yelling, arguing, accusing, more than I can recall seeing since the '60s. Took me awhile to find this blog, as a cyber-challenged person. Thank you for an attractive layout; let's see who else is able to find his/her way.
Thanks for the input, Colleen, Dennis, Steve, Mike, Cari. Much appreciated. Please add whatever You think would get a lively response. I agree CNN, MSNBC, all of them, do telecast some crazies. Needing more pictures from everyone until I have one of each person, even those who were not able to attend. We would all like to see what we all look like now.
Maybe a way to get pictures of all who attended would be to ask the photographer for files. Most of us are paying dearly for our copies and perhaps the photog could be generous if we gave him credit. I did think it was wierd for him to get people to laugh with a toy animal. The banquet was great as was the brunch. It was fun to show my wife (a Millikan grad) our neat school. I also noticed that most of the athletic facilities are named after coaches from our era. Thanks Liss for setting this up and to your son for advising you.
Thanks Liss and Mike for setting up the blog. The reunion was great fun. The pictures on the site show several people I did not see, but who I was wondering about. The committee did a great job. Someone could e-mail those that gave their e-mail address and have them mail a "now picture." It would be great fun! Gretchen Hough Eastman
No one seems to want a blog, or not many. BTW, our Memory Books and the picture taken of the whole group Saturday night are due to arrive after Christmas.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Liss, for all that you are doing to keep alumni from the Class of '59 in touch with each other. This should be FUN!
